Rustic

This photo shoot is, without a doubt, to.die.for. MMD Events worked their magic, and gave us rustic chic inspiration that any of your brides-to-be can use. Having a vineyard wedding? The stunning use of deep purple could compliment a winery oh-so-wonderfully. A barn wedding? The recycled wood and burlap accents of this shoot may have just sent you into the same tizzy I've been in. Summer bride? LOVE the use of cotton instead of flowers - so fresh. Seriously, even those of us whose big day is in the past can take inspiration from this one (think: showers, birthday parties, Tuesdays). Thanks to the FAB Justin DeMutiis Photography, we have stunning images to bookmark like our little fingers have never bookmarked before.

From MMD Events ... We created this inspiration shoot to put a new twist on rustic- a little bit of vintage eclectic, with the bold color of eggplant. Using a vintage crate as the main focal point of the table, we filled it with eclectic odds and ends, and flanked either side with interesting containers filled with cotton. To use burlap runners in a different way, we criss-crossed them to create more of an effect on the table. We wanted to show that you can have a great looking table without having to have tons of floral elements.

Gorgeous, unique miniature cakes by Cakes With A Kick adorned the vintage plates at each placesetting, carrying the rustic and eclectic style throughout the table. Placecards were placed atop vintage lobster crate pieces, which were also the medium for the table number and the "Mr & Mrs" chair signs created by Every Last Detail. Meant To Be Sent created gorgeous invitations and menus, carrying the burlap over into the pieces as well.
