Modern Wedding Inspiration Full of Romance

Any brides out there with a love for modern? If so, this one is for you. We are so excited to share this AWESOME bit of wedding inspiration photographed by Kristen Weaver, with design and styling by MMD Events and Every Last Detail. Far too little do we come across a wedding, or a photo shoot that has a modern aesthetic so we of course jumped at the chance when this pretty number floated into our inbox. The colors are to die for and the clear lucite mixed with baby's breath and pale blushes and grey makes for all out romance.

MMD Events teamed up with Every Last Detail to create a modern, chic wedding look for this photo shoot. Our inspiration began with the color gray- we love how modern it is and how it's perfect with just about any color. Baby pink was the perfect color to add the chic element we were going for. We wanted to show brides how their weddings can be completely beautiful with simple centerpieces and perfectly coordinated details. Peonies and dusty miller were the perfect flowers for small vases. Bunches of baby’s breath added a romantic feel to the whole room.

The details, created by Lauren of Every Last Detail, were designed to show the effect that details can have on wedding décor. Lauren made Chivari chair accents to mimic the look of the popular ribbon and pearl necklaces. She also created table numbers that were designed to be a part of the whole table décor. Paper chargers made of specialty paper were a great way to add some color to the table at an incredibly affordable price. MMD Events created a magnetic escort card display board, complete with a pink frame and gray background. Lauren created escort cards using specialty paper as a background to frame the cards. Everything was finished off with pink and white candles to illuminate the room, creating a perfectly modern, chic wedding look!

We like to say that this shoot was a “Twitter Photo Shoot” because some details were provided by vendors who responded to a tweet from Lauren. She tweeted asking if any vendors had something they would like to contribute, and they responded! The gorgeous hair pieces were provided by Bethany Lorelle, and jewelry from Monet complemented them beautifully. An Etsy store, LindenLovebirds, sent the most perfect pink and gray shoe clips that went perfectly with the gray shoes our model wore. Paper products designed by Southern Fete were placed on top of gray napkins at the place settings, adding another modern element with just the right amount of color.

Many of the elements from this photo shoot can be recreated by brides for their own weddings. Minimal design is key for this look- small centerpieces and clean lines make for a perfectly modern, chic design. Paper chargers are easy to make and can be made to complement any style of décor. The biggest take-away from this shoot is that details make a huge difference, even when they’re as small as a chair accent.
